Bounce juggling is a form of toss juggling where the balls are thrown down and bounced off a flat surface, usually the floor, rather than thrown in the air. Most bounce juggling balls are made from rubber but the most consistent balls with the highest return are made from silicone. Rebound height and consistency between different balls is the key to good bounce balls. Rubber balls tend to give you the best return height ranging from around 90% to 94% but they aren’t quite as consistent as silicone balls.

The Oddballs bouncer is a great budget bounce juggling ball. Just a small set up are the Play balls – these perform pretty much the same as the Oddballs ball but they have a much less visible seam which makes them feel and look nicer.

Mister Babache are probably the best bounce ball manufacturer. Their turbo balls are rubber but boast a 94% rebound height and good consistency making them rivals to the more expensive silicone balls. Mr B’s silicone balls are the bee’s knees, however. Their amazing consistency and good rebound rate mean they are the balls of choice for world record holder, Alan Šulc, who flashed 12 of these balls in 2008.
