FULL TIME DESPATCH OPERATIVE POSITION AVAILABLE – SHOREHAM BEACH

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Dispatch Operative to join our lovely team in Shoreham.
This would be a full-time permanent role. Duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Picking and packing orders accurately with good attention to detail
- Processing incoming deliveries efficiently
- Packing large wholesale orders on to pallets
- Replenishing stock
- Stock counting and stock control
- Handling customer enquiries via email and over the phone.
- Processing returns
The role of Despatch Operative requires the candidate to be hard-working, dedicated, and enthusiastic. You would need to have a good level of fitness as some heavy lifting would be required as well as moving palletised goods around the warehouse.
A ‘can do’ attitude and desire to work efficiently and effectively is more important than warehouse experience, however warehousing or retail experience would be a bonus.
A passion for circus skills and / or aerial arts would be a huge advantage, especially if you have a good knowledge of our products.
As we are a tech-driven e-commerce company, we expect all applicants to be technically competent and confident.
Due to the customer service element of the role, good oral and written skills are also required.
Our large warehouse is located just 300m from the beach and 100m from the Adur river. It is fitted with a well-stocked aerial training space, a Sonos sound system, a full kitchen with an excellent coffee machine, a rec room and table football. We have canoes, paddleboards and shower facilities on site, and we regularly host social events.
Starting rate is £11.55 / hr + benefits
