Purchased 3 years ago and loved it even since. Back here to buy another one as I'm ready to learn two. I'm also buying a replacement bearing for my original. Cannot recommend enough for beginners. It's smash proff and has a great bearing even if I have left it in the garden multiple times through the elements. Love the sticks too. Padding just started wearing. Will be replacing too

I've been disappointed with plastic sticks that came with my beginner diabolo and snapped under moderate use, metal sticks that bent after time, and wooden sticks that just feel a little basic. These superglass sticks are nice and stiff, haven't bent after a couple of years' use, have yet to scratch or break, although they are starting to show some marks from occasional collisions.
The only downside is the foam, which is very easy to damage. If you accidentally wind the string around the foam while it's in your prop bag, you'll indelibly crease it. After a few months, you'll notice the foam gradually slipping its way down the stick, until a centimeter or so sticks off the end, which starts to rub and tear. Will buy again (but would love to be able to get replacement foam).
Been using these for a few months and they've held up really well. My eldest is a beast and regularly does 30'-40' throws and catches with a Big Top, not the lightest diabolo out there. I'm definitely going for carbon next but these things have been fabulous for learning. One thing with glassfibre is the noise they make when they hit each other sounds terminal. Never even a mark though.

We bought the diablo sticks for a triple bearing diablo in good faith, however, the sticks DO NOT hold a triple bearing diablo, and therefore break all he time! They are useless and we wouldn't recommend!
*Reply from Firetoys - we have tested these sticks ourselves and have been unable to replicate this problem. We're not hearing other reports of this problem and we are satisfied that this was an isolated incident. Though we are dissapointed to hear of this we welcome any feedback.
Great quality diabolo in funky orange - have perfected lots of tricks for the school yard with this. This is the best triple bearing to have.
Great for tricks
They break proper easy but are good in some ways
I have been using this diabolo now for about a year of heavy use. I cannot fault its performance and it is easy to modify. After a year the bearing is now wobbling like crazy. But overall, a good bearing diabolo.
We had a cheap heavy Diablo before and my son found it tricky to get the hang of, until a friend recommended a triple bearing Diablo which spins much faster. Since getting this one, my sons has mastered lots of tricks, so very happy. Price and speed of delivery was excellent :-)
Got this for our 10 yr old boy's birthday after watching a guy wing these around like no tomorrow in the show - Cirque Mechanics Pedal Punk. Our son picked it up so fast! We're all wow'd by the smooth, speedy sophistication of the triple-bearing-ness. When he's ready for Diabolo #2, we know where we'll be heading to get it. :)

Looks very nice and my son enjoys it. Delivery was fast but the diabolo sticks broke quite quickly.
had a cyclone for a few months and it was great to start off but now the bearing is not smooth anymore and it makes a horrible noise. i just upgraded to the tornado which is amazingly smooth and spins for much longer but costs a lot more.
This was my first diabolo I bought by myself, and I'm very pleased.
- It spins fast and long.
- It was cheap.
- It doesn't break after two weeks!!
I would recommend it to everyone as a first diabolo.
You can do a lot of simple tricks but also a lot of harder, if you'd like :)
Everyone has one at school - this is the best diabolo
i have seen they's at my school i have had goes with similar one's but they're just not as good on a couple of things
1. they don't spin as fast as the quartz one's
2.they don't accelerate as fast as the quartz
it is a very good buy
