Offset Oval

The Offset Oval carabiner combines the best features of an oval carabiner with that of a 'D' shape carabiner.  

Oval carabiners are not capable of extremely high breaking loads (but all carabiners sold by Firetoys are suitably rated for aerial rigging) because their symmetrical shape shares the load between the spine and the gate.  

The gate is the weakest part of any carabiner, so higher strength can be achieved by directing the load towards the spine.

The shape of this carabiner makes it perfect for rigging offset loads.

Double Action

This Double Action (twist lock) carabiner features an auto-locking gate with an extra wide 23mm opening.

Double Action means you need to twist and push to open the gate.

Auto-locking means you can’t forget whether you’ve screwed the gate closed, and it will prevent the possibility of the gate unlocking from vibration.

It’s also super simple to open and close with one hand! This makes it perfect for aerial rigging situations where you might change gear frequently.

You should ensure that nothing comes into contact with the gate while in use.
