Freestyle unicycles tend to be the standard type of unicycle people learn on. It is also probably the oldest type of unicycling. Advanced riders perform tricks on flat land, similar to flatland BMX, and by linking them together create sequences of tricks. Freestyle unicycling is also the most common form of performance unicycling, although trials unicycles are taking to the stage more and more. You can find freestyle unicycles for all levels and budgets in this section.
Freestyle unicycles tend to have 20” wheels, though this depends on the rider’s height and personal preference. This type of unicycle also usually has a high seatpost and a thin saddle. The forks are normally squared to allow for one-footed tricks.
We stock a range of freestyle unicycles. The Club Freestyles offer great value and are ideal for beginner unicyclists. They also come in a range of funky colours. Moving up the range we have the Nimbus II which is a high quality but affordable mid-range freestyle unicycle. For the pros out there we have the Eclipse and the Equinox, both made by Nimbus. These beauties are top of the range, high-spec machines. Lightweight but super strong everything about them screams quality.
